How Do I Meet People and Get Involved?                                              Worship Website Sidebar

Living Waters Christian Fellowship is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Living Waters Christian Fellowship.
When you use your gifts and passions to serve others, it honors God and allows the Kingdom of God to thrive. From welcoming guests to mentoring children, to working with your hands and much more, there’s a place for your unique contribution. And when you step up to serve, God can use you in ways you never expected. We want to help you find the right place where you can put your interests, passions, and God-given gifts to work. It’s easy to get involved, and you’ll love the connection that serving together with others brings!
What kind of time commitment would I be making?
Some people may be available to serve monthly while others may want to serve more often. There are opportunities to serve for people with every type of schedule.
How do I get involved?
Below is an abbreviated example of our many service opportunities.  Identify your area of interest and we’ll take it from there.
Serve as a host by help people find seats, handle any problems or needs that present themselves, receive the offering, monitor hallways and children’s areas during the service, etc.
You will be assigned to a station such as the front door, the connection table, or the sanctuary doors to welcome people arriving at LWCF on Sunday mornings.                                                                                                                                                                                                       Faith Like a Child Website Sidebar
Fisherman Club
Besides personal and individual witnessing, the Fisherman are a posse of individuals (male/female of various age groups) who study and practice proven concepts and strategies of Evangelism to the lost and hurting. They GO to the street to win souls.
Music Ministry
If you play an instrument or sing, we’d love for you to audition for the team. We’re always looking for additions to our team.
We have serving opportunities for people who enjoy working with kids, and want to show kids the love of Jesus, or be a kids’ small group leader. Anyone working with children will complete an application process that includes a background check and will receive on the job training and support.  In order to give our children the best Bible teaching possible, Living Waters Christian Fellowship holds a children’s church service in conjunction with the main service each Sunday (except the fourth Sunday when children join their parents in our general worship service). This special time gives kids more opportunity for interaction and learning in a context and manner that may be better suited to their age and learning styles. Our friendly children’s church volunteers have an endless stream of creativity–ranging from puppet shows, to games, to object lessons.

Prayer Warriors (Intercessors)

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Living Waters Christian Fellowship is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday, during the morning service, a team of volunteers is praying for the ministry of the Word. Throughout the week, volunteers to our Prayer Warriors team, pray for our pastor, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs. Each Tuesday and Wednesday, church members come together for a special time of prayer.
